Iced Encha Matcha Latte

Try this recipe if you want an iced matcha latte with a stronger matcha flavor and to be able to control the level of sweetness

Equipment

  • Matcha whisk
  • Matcha bowl or a cup wide enough to use the matcha whisk (sometimes I use a measuring cup)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp of Encha Matcha Latte or Ceremonial Grade
  • 2 oz of warm water
  • 6 oz of soy milk or your preferred milk
  • 1/8 tsp of vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Add warm water and matcha in a matcha bowl or cup
  • Then whisk till you no longer see lumps
  • Mix in the agave and vanilla (optional)
  • Add matcha mixture, milk, and ice in a glass

Notes

For a HOT matcha latte
  • heat the milk (in a stove top or microwave)
  • then pour it in a cup with the matcha water mixture 
    • if you want foam use a handheld milk frother
